GameGuard was worse. Xtrap is a little better, the game was at least playable for 2-3 months after it was changed over. I'm still in amazement they just told us to go play in private rooms now though. -

Hi I tend to roam the forums but never really...ever...talked much. And ahead of time, I'm sorry if I seem like my thoughts aren't well organised.
Honestly, I think that has to be one of the most terrible things that Z8 could post for their customers to see. How many of us can make friends in game easily, if we don't use the forums. Most conversations there consist of "Hacker!" "Noob!" "I did your mom last night" etc. Yeah...not going to make friends that easily(going off of personal experiences) so unless you're in an active clan good luck with a private room.
I've noticed a pattern though with the hackers. I'm betting the hackers are mostly elementary-highschool ages(not saying anyone under the age of 18 is automatic hack, I'm not that insensitive and I know better than that.)
Have you noticed that on national holidays in the USA that sometimes those hackers are worse than ever? I sure noticed it on the kids' Christmas break, I had to quit playing for awhile. I bet this summer is going to be really bad, too.
Honestly though, if Z8 would get a better anti-hack program at the cost of us paying a monthly subscription or something...I think it'd be worth it more so than the item mall. I'd gladly pay a monthly fee if it meant no more hacks(or at least very, very few hacks,) but thats just what I think. I mean if money is the problem...well I'm willing to do my part and pay a subscription if I had to, not sure about everyone else though.
Heck! If they went and made a separate subscription with special benefits(GP gain, EXP gain or some special items,) I might be interested in that too.
CF is a great game. I've played WarRock, A.V.A., WolfTeam, COD...I just can't stop myself from coming back to CF, but the hackers used to really tick me off. Now I just make a game out of trying to kill them when the other team won't kick those kids. I have no choice but to live with it, which is kind of sad but that's reality for you.

Thank you very much. I had been thinking about that for a few weeks now.
I wonder if Z8 needs a solid flow of money, you know: money the know will be there every month, before they can do much? A free-to-play game only generates so much cash I figure, unless its something like MapleStory(ugh.)
Honestly, I don't buy ZP unless I feel like purchasing a gun or I'm considering buying a character. I feel that temporary items are a waste of my money(however, I'm slowly working myself in on trying those ZP crates sometimes...which is actually worse, but I get a good sum of GP out of them so I could buy a perma gun later.) I'm sure there are other players out there that feel the way I do about it, too.
Then, maybe they(Z8) could find a better way to deal with the anti-hack programs(Since I hear X-Trap is from another country, so patching and stopping hacks may be hard for them to do because of a language and time "barrier," so its not all Z8s fault.) However, I don't know what the original owners use for anti-hack, but I wonder if they have to have permission to change from X-Trap even? Companies can be pretty picky about stuff like that. -

Its actually hard to say if they have enough at all, like you said theres no way for us to know how much they make and how much its going to cost.
My husband suggested maybe they should have servers made for hacking, but the games that do have servers like that are RPG type games.
I don't think that would work very well at all. Some hackers do actually use the hack to make their KDR good and to look good sometimes I'm sure(that's why I think some good players get kicked for having decent KDR in a round I think, but the legit, good players that get kicked should take that as a compliment I think
) but most of the time the hackers probably do it just to tick off legit players. What other reason anyone have to hack a first person shooter? Its a very childish reason, but a hacker is just like a troll. I seriously doubt a separate server for hacks only would succeed in keeping them out of the normal servers....I wish it could work though.
Whatever the case and whatever it is Z8 decides to do, I hope it goes well. People are getting annoyed right now, their employees probably are too. However, when you need to vent...you need to vent, its healthy for us. -

Facebook doesn't control who becomes a fan of a certain thing. If you wanted to become a fan of a post apocalyptic punk band from Egypt who had a facebook page, you can.
And they might say the same things about you speaking English on their page as you are about a page in North America. Despite your assumptions Facebook is a global website.
Additionally, you should try working for a company who has more than yourself as an employee. You'll notice that a) you might get more things done with more people and b) you'll be able to actually multi-task things.
It's like for example an art department and a programming department for a video game company. Imagine 3 artists and 4 programmers working at a company. And there is a bug in the game. And you are an outsider wondering wtf is going on when a bug takes 4 days to fix and you have 7 employees. It should only take 2 minutes! But you're not considering the fact that the artists don't program.
It should also be noted that Facebook pages for business (in general) are a Marketing tool as well as information sharing. And controversy is sometimes better than complacency. And in this case, you have no idea what could be coming next. Which is also a good thing in a marketing sense.
