replay files?

how do you get them back if you didnt have the chance to safe it?
because i just played a game with 4 freaking high lvl 1 shotters and i want to report them. but i couldnt because i got this stupid error message:

i was ****ing angry after that because i played that game for more then 47 minutes and i didnt get my ****ing xp (i wouldnt care about the xp if i wasnt near a ****ing level up! >:/)

I have heard that if you access the folder that has the files before exiting cross fire it will be in there as a temporary save. But if you close CF you wont be able to get it.

Like he said but can't remember the details. All I remember is you have to change from whatever type of file it is to .cfr file before it's gone.

change the replaytemp.tmp file to "something.cfr". don't close cf or start a new game either or it'll delete/overwrite it.

Solution

What you do is

1. Go to your documents from the start menu
2. there should be a crossfire folder click on it
3. There should be a replay folder click on it
4. The file you want wil be named temporary.tmp or something like that
what you need to do is rename it to anything you want and add a .cfr extension to it.
for example impro.cfr . Thats all you need to do

I actually always have to save like this because the game saver doesnt work for me.
