high ping

Dont use wifi to play online, your upload is to low, off corse you will lag.

I use wireless and dont lag. That high of a ping you must be downloading something or someone else is on the internet. Even loading a web page will make you lag like crazy.

Is your wifi password protected? Is your comp the only one conected to it that you know of?

WIFI now days = junk... .
can be easily broked in. .. i turn my wifi off from my DSL modern

you should check with you ISP to see if there is any problems in your area, If not ask them to come out and check ur lines. You may be having signal loss due to a bad drop or home run.

Its not his ISP. He is using neighbors internet. If he is on the internet same time as you loading web pages doing w/e he will be using all the band width up and you will be lagging. I would suggest forking up some money for your own internet and problem solved.

There isnt much you can do if its not your internet. I love comcast here because for $20 a mounth you get 7 mb/s

I use wireless and normaly I have 32 ping on uk4 server. But when the last patch was uploadet i was lagging so much that i was kicking every second round.

Don't use neighbors connection, they could always be downloading stuff which would make you lagg. Either use wireless internet with you own connection or use a wired connection. I use wireless internet with my own connection, and i use vista anti lag so i dont ping spike. ping is usually 70-85. with wire internet is it 70-75.

BTW I use Cox Communications, there quite good ISP. never had problems with them.
