can i get more fps out of my machine pls
my internet is great always 10-17 ping
but my fps is realy crap and i lagg like .... on 16 player server
1v1 fps is 50-95
5v5 fps is 35-55
8v8 fps is 5-25
i use game booster and all that but it just does not help at all.
also note my game options ar all on low.
is my video card realy that crappy
it says Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

I get 75 ping in the best day (Where I live, that's great too)
anyway, Got same problem with FPS... and that Noobish GameBooster is doing me no good at all
I think both of our Viga cards needs changing

Your PC is actually quite decent, lower your graphics and check if you have any virus

Btw since you dont have a virus scanner you probably DO have virus, i hav a virus thing and i get these little virus/ problems with my PC and thats probably making ur fps bad cos it really shoulda be higher
when my dad bought me this pc i tryed to download avs searched on google and i downloaded a virus it locked the pc and needed to re-install lol.
since then i download a virus scan anymore

You need new GFX card,and buy an ATI card.
+you could consider new processor,2,4ghz isnt that good.
also try to clean ur pc,viruses and unnesecarry stuff can slow your PC alot.
so i better buy a new computer.

Yeah.
I recommed custom bulit,you can get alot better performance for lower price than prebuilt.
ie I custom built mine,costed me ~550$ and I have 100-250 FPS depending on map and number of players. -

You dont need a new cpu, ITS CF GOD DAMMIT, if your only playing cf then no need to buy another cpu, its good enough.
As the other guy said, clean your computer its probably the best solution if you don;t have a virus thing. -
You have an onboard videocard that isn't really made for gaming. Most computer manufacturers put shi.tty onboard videocards in their products (it's cheaper for them). You might be able to put another videocard in one of the free PCI-E slots. There are fairly decent videocards for about 60 euro that will give you a lot better FPS. Your CPU is fine for CF. Ask an acquaintance with computer knowledge to help you.

u can boost ur FPS with like 10 by doing this ill explain in dutch.

mine is 1.6 .... and i get like 80 fps in 8v8's

Well Saritje. You really got decent GPU, but the main problem is couse your PC has virus/worm/troyan overload. You need immediate to install some AV software or even better some AIO (AV, firewall, antispyware) package. However, I think you will also need to reinstall windows (probably cleaning will not be sufficiently due to a malware overload).my internet is great always 10-17 ping

Btw, also check your graphics performance setup in game. Maybe you choose to high performance setup for your GPU.
Stop talkin´ nonsense. She got 2 core CPU (Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+, 2,4 GHz), which is more than enough for CrossFire. It's mainly CPU dependant and it uses only one CPU core.
So yeah, your best bet would be a new CPU. Altho a new GPU wouldn't be a bad idea either.. -
