Quality of the forums
What quality do you expect from a forum?

As what Saidin said, the spammers reduced quality of the forums
But that is not what I am talking about, what kind of forum do you want to see? Good, bad, trollish, etc?

I TRY TO SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE.
Is a good thing I do believe that more should too. -
Would like to see a forum that obtains users that use the search button, rather than posting the same thing over and over again, and also have less people posting we should have this gun that gun blah blah. I know everyone forum isn't perfect but itd be nice to see the forum this way.

I'd be happy, if the forum wasn't used as a complaint system.
Someone comes immediately from a game with ONE hacker and posts it on the forums... blah blahing that z8games sucks. There shouldn't be this many hackers in-game. Blah blah..
They exaggerate.
If people didn't qq in forums..It'd be all sweet. Apart from the trollers.. who cares about them really.
Some stranger you've never even talked to before in your life calls you 'fat'. Really, are going to be hurt by that lol.

- Done something cool? Z8: "I/he/anyone can do that better. You suck/Lol, you played noobs" good forum: "Nice/congrats"
- Noticed something you never saw? Z8: "Old news/lol, you're so slow." Good forum: "Yes, it has been known for quite a while"
- Have a question? Z8: "How can you not know that?/5 different wrong answers." Good forum: "just the right answer"
You get my point... -

I'd like a forum where people actually understood sarcasm and had a sense of humor.

+1.. The major problem couldnt be described better.. As long as people wanna play smartasses, this problem will remain.. What more, new forumers who can see such responses are going to think, that this is the right way to answer - with insults, arrogance and with no answer at all..
But this problem lies on the bigger scale, its not only forumers fault -

Van de mail weet ik niet, maar patch moet je ofwel opnieuw proberen of gewoon helemaal opnieuw installeren...

Dunno bout mail, but for the patch you got to retry or try completly reinstalling. -

Saidin is right, even if it would be nice to reword forumer's if we add something of a reward the non-forumers will start to use it, only with the intent to get the reward. It's a good and bad thing.xSengchanhx wrote: »What quality do you expect from a forum?

FYI. Complaining (acting negatively even) will always be easier than finding the good in something and talking about it.
That's the nature of the beast. And logical when you think about it. Someone is having a great time in a game with some friends or are playing in a tournament or in a wogl draft. They aren't really coming here to moan and whine about it (unless that experience gets ruined).
It's also one of the reasons why something like the "Look what I found" thread is so popular. Bragging is something people like to do, and its also the easiest to do in that thread. (thus the "I can do it better" type posts)
By that same token, there are some great threads here and some awesome discussion has ensued even in the "complaint" department. But in general, throughout the world it will always be easier to complain about something than compliment. -

this forum will be at it's best if:
-No one comes here just to whine about things that happenned to them IG
-No one trolls
-We have more time talking to the CM's and mods, that would make us feel important, also, would warn them of what's the community thinking, i would love a "ask saidin" section of the forums
-Mooovieee section, with all the best montages and tutorials (sony vegas, etc, movie maker...)
-comics section, for those who cannot afford a sony vegas copy
