Hi all, I've benn playing this game for a while, no problems at all.
Two days ago I started having this issue whit PFS suddenly going down to 6-7, even 2 FPS sometimes... Of course there's no way to play like this...
I tried to unistall and install CF again, updated nVidia drivers ecc, even changed my DNS, tried gamebooster, lowered graphics settings to the lowest possible but nothing changed. The game has become slugghish and unplayable....
Any suggestions??
Thank you -
The first problem is, those are laptop equivalent specs, not as powerful as desktop, which system requirements lab doesn't take into account.
Second, CrossFire doesn't support multi-core, so it'll only be running at a base 2.0ghz.
Have you tried gamebooster? If so, try upgrading to the latest service pack for your OS. -
so believe me .
My friend has a computer with a multi-core PC with 2 x 2.3ghz .
1.5gb ram . And at him crossfire works PERFECTLY . even 16vs16 on A big map has like 100fps . thats so crazy >_>
Yea , i tried gamebooster . but its the trial version . the same thing : drops to 10 fps .
That latest service pack might be a good ideea . ill try now and ill say if it works . -

Your problem lies within playing on a Laptop. your running win 7 ultimate 32 bit. Slows you down alot, I would only run ultimate in 64 bit. The truth is Laptops really just arent great for gaming. -

You're suggesting a 64-bit OS when he's only running 2GB low-mhz RAM......
He wants speeding up, not grinding to a standstill. -

You have 2 GB and your fps goes to 10-12? O_O
Download Gamebooster/GameBox/Etc.
They will help raise your FPS, and steady your ping. -
I have Win7 Ultimate and Im running on Service Pack 1

Whilst CF's running, press ctrl+alt+delete, open Task Manager, then go to 'Processes', and change the priority of CF to 'low'.
Also, have Windows Update check for anything new, and update your GPU drivers if necessary. -
