I'd say so, 2.9 ghz, 6 gig ram, Radeon HD 5870 mobile graphics card should have no problem running it at 60+ fps.
Dont forget you can return it, no questions asked at bestbuy just incase. -

as in 60+ fps in the worst possible conditions, 8vs8, choppy places, etc.
1vs1 it may even go 80s,90s or more. -

I got 60-80 fps 8v8 on my old free laptop (now my sisters). You really don't need anythnig amazing, you just need to maintain your lappy at peak performance.
Use GameBooster too, if you feel the need, but honestly, anything above 60fps isn't even noticeable. -
No big deal
With the same components a laptop can be as good as a computer...
i had a notebook 3mg intel core dual
my fps was 60
so i wouldnt be suprise if his fps is 200...
Do you actually know about computers, or are you working on presumptions?
The latency levels of that RAM could half that of a PC's, but it still wouldn't perform as well under CF's conditions. The frequency won't be half as high for one, which isn't great for a CPU and memory intensive game. The processor may drag through that ATI Mobility in other games, presuming it's maxed out to 2.9ghz non-stop, but even then, cooling and fan overwork's going to become an issue. -

I don't know a sh¨¨ but i had my experience with notebooks and based on comparations i can tell you that his fps might be from 150 to 200 on 8vs8 -
Well you can't really argue with Cookie about computers. If you would REALLY like to get a laptop for gaming that ik satisfies most get the Alienware m15x. I hate the company as their stuff is always Overpriced. (Seriously go with a desktop though. You'll regret the whole laptop thing)

You can't really judge one developing laptop to another, not with this game, anyways.
But I guarantee you he won't get 200 fps 8v8 max settings/resolution, with those specs.SooperPickle wrote: »If you're rich. Besides, with AMD's Bulldozer coming out, Intel wont stand a chance
I'll be turning back to the good side soon, don't worry sonWell you can't really argue with Cookie about computers. Exactly, and the thing with buying laptops specifically for gaming, they tend to be fairly weighty, what with all the added peripherals inside. They essentially become slightly mobile, less resourceful, desktops  -
