how to use fraps

there is no general setting that works for everyone. it depends on your rig.

recording in CF, to me, is not as easy as with other recent games.

try a different settings and see what works best for you. make sure to check the box "fixed fps" (dont know what its called exactly). i get better results by doing so.

if you are capturing full screen make sure you got one of the faster harddisks (7200rpm) and enough space on it since it will eat up space in no time. you should also defrag your disk (if necessary). writing large amounts of data to a fragmented disk will make you lag or even crash.

in my opinion capturing at more than 70fps does not make sense.
