Low-Ping Server!
Hey Z8 staff, Smilegate staff, G4Box staff, and Neowiz staff. It's tinamou1. I am a 1st lieutenant with almost every crate gun. I love this game, and it means a lot to me.
So I therefore propose something.
You guys have a UK server and a West Coast Server, but those don't have any restrictions.
Anyone can play in the UK or WC Server. There's nothing that doesn't allow them to play on them.
Well I have a suggestion.
If you plan on making any new servers, can you make a low-ping server? For example, there would be a cap, like the Delta server; anyone with 120+ ping couldn't join.
There are a lot of benefits.
1. No more laggers.
A lot of the CF community hates laggers-they ruin the game. For example, if someone has 300 ping, they have .3 second lag, so they don't get "hit" by my bullets til .3 seconds later
2. A lot less hackers.
Okay, I know this sounds racist and offensive, but you know just as well as me that a good majority of hackers (60%+) also have high ping (150+). In a recent HM game I played, there were 3 hackers, and all of them had 190+ ping. Therefore, creating a low-ping server would allow us legit, USA/Canada players to enjoy the game a lot more, because EVERYBODY hates hackers.
3. Friendly community
Because most high-pingers don't speak english, we can't communicate well, and bad communication leads to bad relations. Since most good-pingers are from English-speaking USA and Canada, we would communicate well and therefore get along better. I remember in the old days when most people WERE low-pingers, and the community was so nice. These days, it is increasingly hostile.
Okay so these are the reasons why establishing a low ping server would be a good idea. I hope you consider it for the next patch, and if you are reading this enjoy the game, and don't forget to report hackers!

Sometimes my ping suddenly blasts to 150 in UK Server and I'm living in UK atm, mate.
That wouldn't be a nice idea. Some people just doesn't have a nice ping, it's not their fault.
Some poeple don't have the same money then every1 to have a nice internet. -

ping is normally bad because a)youre far away from central server and b)lot of ppl on ur internet. spiking is 1 thing they could patch, like if u went to 150 for less than 5 sec u could still play -

Or you can be like me and have a crappy phone box in the back of your apartment raising your ping up to 120 when you live in California. Plus, spikes last more than 5 seconds. Sometimes in in West with 46 ping and someone downloads a song and it goes to 800 for a minute. -

i think that the low ping server would be a normally good idea though. it would have its bugs but we could fix that right? -
This has been suggested tons of times already, it has been supported by many and rejected by many. Saidin wrote that this isn't what they plan on doing (something in that direction). So I'd assume that it won't happen.
Everything that you said is true, plus Saidin said that while this would be a nice feature, it would be way too difficult to program and would be unfair to people who get the aforementioned spikes. -
They can make an auto kick if your average ping in one game goes above 130+ (might be 190). I've seen it in Black ops and MW2, AVA, and most other games. Let's face it, if you were lagging like that, you would want to be kicked after having a bad score.

Three things
1.) Mexico is Spanish speaking country and are part of NA.
2.) I would love to have a ping cap server but not just for us/canada but for uk and mex as well, I live near the border and id love a server where my ping hits 10 (were it should be) instead of 30 lowest in west coast.
3.) unfortunatly this will never happen, this has been discussed many times before, smilegate/neowiz do not have the rights to put/create a server for SA so they can't put a server there. -

Unfortunately we don't have a say in almost any games just cause we are 50000000 miles away from every gaming country. -

wc used to be people under 80 ping now you see never see 80 ping and lower but people with over 200 ping
