A friend of mine gets this error. Any ideas about what should he do?

I think i rember i had a problem like this i just un-installed CF and the re-installed maybe try that. Also, i had a loading error and i just had to wait for the next patch to come out which really sucked

Reinstall and tell your anti-virus software not to delete/change any files without your allowance.

AntiVir for example loves to delete .exe files

Thanks, i will tell him. Somehow he said to me that he did install a clean version and that he doesnt have antivirus. Fresh Windows install also. Could the problem be related to some other viruses?

Well, when he does not have an antivirus program a virus could be the reason. But normally a virus would not attack game files.
