Well, besides one being a Rifle and the other a SMG, they both have their merits.

For example, the K-2 has better range & damage, but slow reload time. The K1A has less weight & faster cycle speed + more ammo. Recoil really isnt a factor, since if you use the gun a lot, you'll get used to it. As for which is more fun to use, the K1A is what I would choose.
