It doesn't matter what gun you use, it just replaces the original wingy things you get trough the badges. If you don't see them when killing someone with a pistol you probably don't have that badge yet. I use these marks and they all work for me.
Edit: What do you mean by gone? You haven't deleted anything I hope! You just need to REPLACE the files! -

No I haven't deleted anything. I have most of the badges already, lol. Not sure why it's not working. -
Ok, nvm. They crystal update one just doesn't work for pistols. Also, where did you make these killmarks?
I used GIMP. The headshot ones are some old I made some time ago(I think they are somewhere in Fan works) and now edited them again for the crystal project.
