Global Risk because the uniform looks better on gsg9 so i play GR side whenever i can.

1, Because BL almost always @!%^& 's GR in Rival factions (Come on, what do you expect in GM)
and 2, It's a lot easier on BL on most of the maps. I prefer GR when I'm playing GM & on a few other places.

I choose BL cuz is the most hard team. We have to rush, not to wait for our enemys. We rule the map. We own them.

Because I prefer blue colour over brown. If there was some Greenpeace activists with green camo, I'd pick them because I like green colour the most.

I look at the teams.. if there are multiple yellow bar ranked in one team.. and none in the other...and if Im alone(without any of my clanmates)...I will go for the yellow bar team. I'm not suicidal...

There should be a way to balance teams, it should be impossible to have only yellow bars(or higher) vs only noob ranks. To keep the balance bettwen teams.

Don't say that rank isn't important, because it is. Higher ranked normally means a lot less noob behaviour...

I don't really care about the gr or bl.. I don't really understand why you do mind it so much... It's all the same only the colours change.. yellow to dark blue..

For Rival Faction : I chose BL because... I flipped a coin.

For the game :
- in GM, I'm GR 95% of the time unless I have an axe or shovel, then I buy Breath down and it's the other way around, i.e. I play as BL 95% of the time
- in SnD & TD if I don't snipe, then it doesn't matter, I go wherever I can
- in SnD & TD if I snipe, then it depends on the map : Egypt for example, I love the GR side the most, Fortress, the BL side
- in the other modes, it doesn't really matters

The key word here is "normally".
In CF, rank means next to nothing, it gives a very general idea of how long you've been playing but it can still be deceiving : I've been playing for almost 2 years and am only 2nd Lieutenant, some people have been on CF for less than a year and have captain or major rank.

High ranked players still spray in GM, run with C4 in vent and die there, teamnade, hackusate, and, worst of all, hack.

In game, chosing BL or GR is an important decision especially in sided modes like GM or SnD. You obviously don't play the same when you have to plant a bomb or can be invisible, as opposed to having to defend or find the ghosts.
In TD, it matters too, since the map are never perfectly symmetrical ; in Cairo, sniping as GR clearly isn't the same as sniping as BL for example.

For rival faction, chosing BL or GR can have repercussion on future events.

For me it just had to be Black List.

I like to play the bad guy. Just to see a change; instead of the "good guys" winning in the end. Not to mention that the characters look better than their GR counterparts.

And my AK collection is a welcome asset to Black List´s arsenal

Imagine you have only silver/ yelow bars in one team and only noob ranks in the other.

The first team is in the worst map position.

Would You choose.

a)Would you go to the best map position against that team?
b)join the stronger team?

Of course b.... normal and logical behaviour...

:You don't choose the sides because you like bl or gr..

:You choose the sides based only on the teams.

That really only works for those 'play to win' players. I play GR as much as possible because I like them. I could care less if they are 7 rounds down or winning. Not like you can tell in lobby anyways. And as mentioned, Rank is a joke in this game. It usually means nothing. I could use my alt and own just as easily as on my lt account. Who cares?
