open discussion: segregation
The idea of putting ALL the people of a certain playing group on a specific channel and not allowing anyone else in or allowing them anywhere else is a bad thing IMO. I have been seeing alot more threads of people "concerned" because they did not see just asians on alpha 7 or someone who spotted someone playing with a STAR/SPOP on echo 8, claiming it is some kind of blasphemy.
I think we need to stop thinking about putting labels on people and start playing this game.

having enough labels put on me in real life by people who know nothing about me. i wholeheartedly agree -
edit: actually, well you know the infamous "i have a dream" speech right? well he said he wanted his children to be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character, as far as i can tell, the character of Brazilians are pretty lousy. even brazilians that spoke semi fluent english on the forum agreed, br's are *******s. of course i know that other countries ha.ck too and do things that are not allowed, and not all br's are terrible, but the majority of them seem to be.....not good characters, and of course it can always be argued that its a NA and UK game anyway. but in the end, it matters not because z8 will not change their international policy

Anyway, all i want is 1 count 'em 1 ping capped server, no language requirement, just a ping cap. -

I'm going to say this about the whole brazillian thing.
I'm dutch, and i cant stand most dutch people in game.
ESPECIALLY when they find out i'm dutch and start speaking dutch to me.
I just don't like this for the simple reason that people wont be able to understand what the F i'm talking about.
has something to do with respect i guess, i don't even use chat on Chinese cf because i find it disrespectful to just start spamming in english hoping anyone will understand me. -
Lol soul, you don't need to separate foriegners, you just need to ping cap servers. OT: I like the concept of Echo 8, it's a place where NA people can get away from all teh laggers/hackers.
Everybody has their own palce to go to be with their own.
NA's = Echo 8
BRs = Delta 9
Asians = Alpha 7
EU = Well... their Echo 8 idea didn't really go far, but, they have UK servers, and it's pretty good there. -

yea but the numbers of br's are overwhelming, if one starts speaking Portuguese 12 out of the 16 people in the room would understand. thereby making everyone else a minority -

they dont speak english, they dont know that its less lag. most of them dont even know what ping is, you won't believe how many times i got told that 13 ping is a lag ping.... -

if someone talk to me in portuguse i ignore or i whisper him back. -
but then again english is the main language of the game. i COULD speak dutch in most games on UK servers and most of the germans would even get it, but i wont because its not the main language of the game
i covered that with a previous post, even brazilians agree, brazilians are a.ss .holes they sit in a internet cafe trading ha.cks. their morals are not in as nice a shape as yours are, nor do they have the benefit of fluent english to understand when we try to explain it to them -

urm well that idea has alot of flaws and would never work, first and formost is 80 percent of the cf population will be banned in 1 day, not to mention it would be realllllly hard to detect a foreign language from just accidental typing or random typing. -
I got nothing against Spop users (unless they're guys...because thats just a little bit weird
) or Asian people (unless they pwn me...well I dont like anyone that pwns me).
Would be cool though if this game had more English speakers like it did when we were in Suba. Now I can't talk to a Brazilian or I get kicked

Cf support i guess should take care of it then. Detecting it would be to much hassle programming.
It would only be a short wave of banns until the people find out they should shut up and start playing the game.
