Thought's and Ideas on Hero Mode
Many people, as of now, are just brushing the new mode away simply because of it's intent similarity to Mutation Mode. If not that, it's because of the amount of hackers in the mode.
I understand completely, but it isn't a reason to throw it in the garbage. The mode has a lot of potential, and a few things need to be worked on to get it there.
1. The amount of HP a mutant has/ how long it takes to kill one.
You can't honestly expect EVERYONE in a room to work together to kill a mutant, especially with the language barrier we have.
My thoughts were to increase the power of the humans' weapons on the first level, at least a little.
10k HP is a lot, and it took me over 900 rounds of AK to kill one. That's a lot of ammo crates.
2. Humans running faster than slugs?
That completely set the mode back as far as balance. It's something that needs work.
3. Vote kick? (Wouldn't hurt to ask...)
4. More than 2 crates spawning at a time. If a team of humans is expected to survive, how are 2 crates in the back of the map supposed to help?
5. No-clip for player-to-player in counter to blocking.
6. More on team balance.
(Random thoughts...)
Unless EVERYONE is stacked in A site on port, and none of the people up there are mutants, there is almost no chance for the humans to survive.
The G button is a so-so concept.
It's great for trying to catch up to humans that are running away, but when you are trying to run from a 200 ping dread and he is 20 feet away, you shoot him back, and he is still coming at you and hits you before he even flinches, the idea is faulted and the point is redundant to have in terms of balance in this game.
I know I know "Ideal world" Etc... Just my random thoughts.
I'm just trying to spark the interest in maybe starting a sense of balance in the mode.
This is still an ongoing idea, and hope to get some support to get the mode "fixed".
