The Best All Around Gun: After 530000+ EXP

I disagree with several statements in this post. The AK is not as hard to use as you make it out to be. I can use it easily at close, and long range. You just have to single shot, or 2-3 shot burst it. Any more than that and your likely hood of hitting your target is incredibly unlikely.
Although yes, it does have a drawn out reload time. But when a gun fires a heavy round like the 7.62 NATO, then the gun will take a while to reload. And also, yes, it is heavier than most other guns in it's class. But once again, it carries a very heavy round.
I think we should simply stick with what's obvious about all FPS games. The best gun for you, all depends on how you play the game. If you like mid to close range fighting, and like power, and don't mind some kick, the AK-47 or the K-2 are for you.
If you want low weight, high damage, and like fighting up close and personal, and want a really high firing rate, I would say the Kriss Super-V is for you. And while I'm on it, before you people call it a 'noob' cannon... I want you to know the stats of the gun...
"Caliber .45 ACP
Cartridge type 11.43 x 23 mm
Dimensions and weight
Total weight (with empty magazine) 2.18 kg
Overall length 635 mm
Length (with folded buttstock) 406 mm
Barrel length 140 mm
Fire characteristics
Rate of fire 800 - 1 000 rpm
Practical rate of fire 40 - 120 rpm
Magazine capacity 28 or 30 rounds
Range of effective fire 100 m
"The Kriss Super V submachine gun was developed by Transformational Defense Industries (TDI). It is currently an experimental weapon.
The main advantage of the Kriss Super V is an improved control, accuracy and better grouping of hits on the target, comparing with ordinary submachine guns. It can also be fired using a single hand with adequate accuracy. Axis of recoil in this submachine gun is in line with the firing hand. This feature minimizes muzzle climb after each shot. It also uses a moving weight attached to the bolt, to divert recoil force to the bottom. It also employs hydraulic buffer assembly to decrease rate of fire.
The Kriss Super V is blowback operated, firing from closed bolt. It is chambered for a .45 ACP rounds. This submachine gun has selective fire modes, including single fire, 2-shpt burst, and full-auto modes. Fire mode selector is ambidextrous, as well as a manual safety switch. Co.cking handle is folding, and is located from the left side of the gun. It is not moving when the gun is fired.
A prototype of the Kriss Super V submachine gun is fed by 19-round Glock magazines, however production models will be fed from 28- or 30-round magazines. Magazine housing is located in pistol grip.
This submachine gun is fitted with "Picatinny" rails for ample mounting space for accessories, including sights, flashlights and laser-aiming modules. This submachine gun also has a side-folding stock, for better accuracy.
The Kriss Super V displayed very promising results during live firing tests, however it's bulky shape might became a serious drawback for it's adoption to service." - info was found on www.enemyforces.net
If you take all that into account, then you realize it has a reason for the damage and the ROF.
Now back ontopic, the high damage and low recoil of the gun makes it perfect for CQB combat, in fact it was taken as the 2010 best CQB weapon. It even beat the AA-12 Shotgun.
Just my two cents, Amras Anwamane - IGN:ZmasterzeroZ -
Everyone has there own opinions on this matter. Personally i am going to go with SL since if you got a good aim can easily pick off that head shot with a few bullets. SL is more accurate so you have less chance of missing then with Ak. If you are going to a body shot then Ak is probably your best bet but still I would choose SL because of how fast you can move/reload. Skate mentioned the Ak-scope. That is one of my favourite guns just because of its high power and scope. Its great for long distance. My current gun is QBZ and im loving it. No scope but as long as you can see the enemy they are easy pickens.

scar light is just a noob gunIt is the best weapon for Egypt. Theres no other, even Kriss super isn't so good.MisterMunzta wrote: »Agreed, but AK 47 knife is the best AK, so it's the best gun!
First statement is a 100% approval and thumbs up.
Second one, the Thompson isn't better than the Kriss in Egypt. The Thompson has a large clip, but slower firing rate, less accuracy(If you can use the Kriss right), and less power. In my opinion the best gun for Egypt is the Kriss, or an AK(CAMO or Scope).
Third one, the AK-KNIFE is okay, but in my opinion nothing beats the good old 5 extra shots of the AK-CAMO. The knife is rather pointless, seeing as how I don't know the timing of it. The katana however, I can pwn with. -

The 2 players shoot at each other, but the scar-lighter moves right to left in fast movements in fast bursts and the AK47er is trying to focus the crosshair for a single/double shot to the chest without missing."
___________
Actually when you Think about it, ROF distorts the ACCURACY
Example: If a gun has a very high ROF Ex. Uzi or M60, and if you hold left click as you should to use the full power of Automatic Weaponry as they are (use given ROF) Your recoil goes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up and you miss EACH Shot! Happens a lot of times, except for the UZI, it's an exception (I Dunno why, it sometimes headshots when recoil gets high-sky! XD)!!! So, you said that the AK47 is better at close range but is also firing slower then the Light Scar, seems impossible; the AK47 has VERY high Damage Rate but it also has high accuracy and favors Power above all, the "Light Scar" however is quite Light and Favors ROF and Moving Speed above all other Stats! In other words, if you are at far range, the AK47 Wins and not the Light Scar (Even though Light Scar moves faster), and at close range the Light Scar may win since you can Litheraly jump over your enemy since it's so fast on movement; You should also put in descriptions of the Thompson, Winchester (maybe not...) and the K1A! Otherwise, THIS IS PERFECT!!!
True, which is why high ROF can end up destroying the effectiveness of a weapon. I have a gold m4, and because the ROF is higher, I have trouble hitting as many heads as I do with my regular m4. It's great for spraying, but in all honestly I'd rather use the regular, not to mention the thing looks like a yellow crayon, and my team waits around for me to die in order to use it.
Anywho, my top three guns are:
1: SCARL
2: M4 (regular or custom)
3: K2
The reason scar is at the top of my list is because the ROF is fast, but slow enough to let you pop-shot heads. It also puts 4-5 rounds in the same place if you feel like aiming for torsos. I never use scarl because of the "noob factor," but when I'm feeling lazy I'll take it out and see how many hs I can get with one magazine.
M4 has a pretty similar ROF, but the vertical spray only really helps if you're running at someone, or they're standing still. When they strafe, it makes it difficult to hit them, but it is good training for noggins. Switching from m4 to scar is pure domination if you can hit heads with the former.
K2 is a solid weapon, and I think it has the best spray pattern of any rifle. If you lag up a storm, this should be your go-to gun. Accuracy leaves much to be desired, but on most levels it's more than adequate. I used to get noggins with this gun like nobody's business.
I know I'll probably get some flak from this, but I have tried dozens of guns and scarl is the best I've seen, even if I leave it in my inventory because I don't like people complaining. Bottom line: scar got a bad rep because noobs spray away with it. If you're shooting heads like a pro, no shame. The only reason people will give you crap is because they know it's the most solid rifle in the game.
***
Just to add something, I really don't die a lot, unless I'm getting swarmed or naded. If I'm 1v1, only Pro's will be getting the better of me. That said, the gun that I feel like I get killed with the most in 1v1 situations is the m4 custom. I don't EVER feel like I get dominated by a regular m4, scar or k2 (or any other gun, for that matter). But that could just be because Pro's don't use them. I don't have a m4 custom, but from what I've seen other people do with it, and from my own experience picking it up off the ground, it's a damn solid weapon, and better than the regular m4, imo. That's based purely on accuracy, ROF, and power. I could care less about the stupid scope or silencer. I don't even play with sound xD

in honesty i think sL is better close up when in a strafing situation ie multiple enemys
sl doesnt get affect by recoil as much as the ak when your forced into fireing on multiple
targets
however mid to long range the ak has a better chance of coming out on top
the power it has can make the difference
at point blank confrontations the same goes for the ak you turn a corner and you see sl
and sl sees your ak and you both open up chances are you walk away alive and he dont
but the ak's weakness is multiple targets at close range yet not point blank
the ak's spray after the 7th bullet or so becomes very concentrated at the top of the
crosshairs and you can trace a line with it but between bullet 3 and 7 is no mans land
the spray then is nearly uncontrollable -
i agree AK47 is better than SL in the hands of a pro sure a new player would take the SL because the AK has a nice BSP but a pro woulf take the AK47
MY RANKING (Top3)
1.M4´s
2.AK´s (my fav. have a AK knife and want a AK scope now)(and i have 69 coupongs - AK gold im comming xD
3.Scar Light -

Well I'm the "some guy" and when I read this I really feel good that some people appreciated the guide I did a year ago and I am thinking of revisiting all this info and upgrading it with a much more expanded info based on added EXP.
Thanks for all who appreciated my effort. I remember it took me some time to organize this info.
