I'm noticing a spate of necroposting, and was wondering if it were possible with the forum software to globally lock threads based on date? If so, this might be something you guys want to do to save yourselves some time.

i knew giving a ribbon for forum posts is a bad idea... but oh well. at least the forums is a bit more "lively" i think.
But yea, i think they should lock old threads for N-amount of days and then it'll automatically be sent to a "thread shredder" section where only mods can enter and delete them.
