Ok example: Yay twenty ribbons I got the M4a1 Custom Crystal. (Day later) Oh noes I lost meh clutch killer ribbon but I still has my M4!

No you will not lose any rewards you get seeing as pretty much the only reward is the M4-CC and some GP but you can't lose that. I think that the only ribbons you can pretty much lose are the clutch killer and honorable soldier ribbons. If you took the time to search you would easily find an explanation for these types of questions. :P
