Team Death Match King of the Hill
I would like to see a King of the Hill mode added to CF. I used to play Delta Force in the mid 90's and they had a mode called that. There was a circle on the map and whatever team occupied the circle the longest wins. This mode of game play is very fun. Thanks

The concept of "King of the Hill" in video gaming was introduced by Core War players who would pit their warriors against each other's in fit for survival. King of the Hill tournaments have existed for Core War since the 1980s.
King of the Hill has been featured as a game variant in many video games, especially first-person shooters like Halo: Combat Evolved and the more traditional Perfect Dark and more recently Gears of War 2. It's also an option in some top-down games, such as many of those in the Army Men series. In these versions of the game, a player or team of players must keep control of a specific area or object for a predetermined amount of time. When that amount of time is reached, the round either ends or a new area is designated on the map. In the virtual variant, players are generally removed from the hill by killing them. -
use to play team king of the hill and king of the hill on DF also:
For those unsure:
TKoTH is a time based game where 1 team needs to occupy an area for a set amount of time, the other side also needs to occupy that area-so the game changes all the time, the game ends when 1 team has either occupied the zone for the whole time needed(only one person needs to be in the zone) or after the length of the match has run its course-then the total time is calculated to determine which team wins
KoTH is similar but like free for all your on your own.
Would like to see this as its fun and does encourage team play.
Another mode which can be fun is capture the flag -
Sorry to break it down, but...
Z8 wants to make this game as "realistic" as it can. People already declined it, saying "what would military personnel gain from staying in one open area for a certain amount of time? Nothing but getting shot."
I have to agree on that.
Same with CTF.
Though I do wish to see armies guarding a flagman during live fire. xD
