Ghost mode topic
Hi everyone,
I just created this topic because I think it would be cool if we had a big topic dedicated to Ghost Mode.
I am a huge fan of this mode and I know a lot of you are too ^^
I would like to sayfirst that it is getting harder for good players not to get kicked.
Because there are a lot of noobs cryers.
So if you want to play in a room on the UK servers 4, with only good players, let me know.
Some people from my clan play ghost mode and we like to play with good and fair players.
So I don't understand when the room is called : pro players only or no QQ noobs, and I see some guys coming in, who don't even know that they can be seen when they run or walk.
Or people crying when they get killed because they think that with the breathdown et footstep they are "unkillalle".
TIPS FOR GHOSTS PLAYERS
- So guys when you have the BD and footstep, GR guys can hear you.
- When you hide close to a light/element source (red lasers, lights, smoke, water), GR can see you.
- When you camp or don't move while a GR is trying to locate you. you will end getting killed, because the guys will just spray around or focus on your whereabouts.
If you want to be able to kill pro players, you need to be always moving (bhopping). Because when you bhop, GR can't hear/see you (unless you fail it), but as soon as you stop THEy CAN HEAR YOU INSTANTLY.
If you guys have some other things to add, don't hesitate.

I don't enjoy GM on the BL if I'm playing by myself, but with my friend it's much more fun. Being Ghost is great when you're by yourself though - it's a mode best played with about 8 players since you still stand a chance of winning even if all your team die. If you're by yourself against 8 players thane ven if you're a bunnyhopping pro you'll have a hard time winning (I've seen it done though, if you get a few kills quickly than the BL team start to panic and spray like crazy)
The maps are also the best looking in the game; it's too bad there's no ambient sounds in Crossfire though since those maps would be quite cool with steam hissing everywhere and stuff. -

Yeah I agree it is difficult but that's what I like when I am a ghost : the challenge to sneak around those guys and slash them.
GM maps are the bests but they should make some more. (Becauseppl get used to the maps and then they automatically know where to find ghosts,....which makes it harder for us). -
You can still pinpoint the bunny hop. If I hear you just a little bit, I'll be able to instanly pinpoint you and hopefully predict where you're going.
