Merely curious...
Considering CF's poor programming and and tons of loopholes, I was merely curious about something...
What if someone was to exploit such, and use it to aid the community. Lets say, hypothetically, that there was a program, (one could call it a hack I suppose) that would allow the person using it to select a player from the list via a menu, and boot them from the room? Typically this would be done against hackers, glitchers and those abusing the game.
What I'm wondering is, would creating and using such be punishable? For merely doing what the powers of a standard mod (besides the banning of course) should already have. Abusing such in the wrong way is obviously noted.
What are your thoughts? Do you think 3rd party programs can be used for good, just as much as bad?

Also, if they get angry at someone, they can kick them.
Because people who are smart won't allow such things to be open to the public. Only select few who would be responsible and keep a level head.
Kids are more likely to get angry. But more mature individuals are less likely to make such mistakes, lest they pay for it. -

true but again...the # of mature people isn't even 1/20 of the # of kids that abuse everything. -

What if they release it to a friend? Then that friend gives it to a friend? And so forth, until it reaches a kid, or even worse, into the hands of a BR. -

like people wont kick their own hack since they want to win the game....
so i think players should be able to kick other team as well...!!!
also we need kick in the ffa, mm, and hm
i think it would be a good thing but i think its better if there are more volunteer GMs -

Such people are irresponsible if they do so then. And shouldn't have been chosen to begin with. Think about the way the modship works. They aren't just given out and abused. -

Well, even if they are kicked, they can just rejoin the room over and over. It doesn't stop the fact that they're still hacking. -
I think it goes something like this...CLOSE THE SERVERS, fix the ongoing problems, and re-open it. I already made myself clear when we shouldnt add more content on the last patch we had. Now look what it did! Days later, the problem is there. Sweeping stuff under a rug wont cleanup the problem, ya know. I think I read it somewhere that they sacrificed server stability in order to get Hero Mode to work during this weekend.
On other news today, I beat Resident Evil 0 on hard mode with all infinite weapons unlocked.

If they are kicked, they wouldn't be able to rejoin the room, just like beign kicked after all. Most hackers are less prone to visit the same room unless its the only one of its type.
Heh, heck, ti may even cause CF to client kick them instead, there was nothing saying what kind of 'kicking' it truly was. -
this is based off the honnor code of the community and hoping theyd be truful enough to only kick the hackers..but if we could trust the community to kick ONLY the hackers we should be able to trust the community to not hack at all..which we obv can't do. so answer to everyones problems!!! Kick the brasilians!!!

While nice in theory...your assuming everyone has honor and ethics on line, even those "honorable people" How do you think pirates get games and such? "honorable" employees leak them.
There are always bad people out there, something that gives that much power to people eventually leads to abuse. However if that person was accountable that would be another story. Ie being sued :P
The biggest problem is people assume they wont' be held accountable for their actions on line, that's why they hack and cheat. Right now that's why cf is having problems like this, they can't make people accountable...since they just remake, or buy their way into the game.
