[SERIOUS] Hero Mode Suggestions
Hi everybody,
In this thread I want to talk about the new Hero Mode. I thought this mode was going to be more fair for soldiers. I mean, in Mutation Mode, soldiers rarely win a round, and when they do it's because the first Mutants quit or act like noobs...
In Hero Mode, we have 2 new things that can help the soldiers:
- Presence of the Hero, a guy with a beast weapon and more resistant toward mutants.
- Damage amplifier when mutants get killed. 20% more damages when a mutant is killed.
Should we be happy with those new elements? Are they really helping soldiers to win more often?
The answer is NO. Why? Because Hero mode comes with this too:
- Mutants come back after 5 seconds if they are not killed by a headshot.
- When the game is full, or almost full, 3 mutants appear, not 2.
- The maximum HP for a mutant is now 11 000 I think.
- Mutants now heal twice or 3X faster than Mutation Mode.
- Mutants get HP when other mutants are hit. You know, the random "Rage thing"... WHAT THE HELL! WHY?
So... Look what helps the soldiers and look what helps the mutants. Add to this the fact that soldiers already ALMOST NEVER win a single round in Mutation Mode. What do you get? A new Mode where soldiers will even more rarely win. I DO think that Hero Mode is FUN, the thing is that I also think that some elements that I wrote in RED should disappear, or be modified.
What do you think guys? Which element(s) that I wrote in RED should disappear or be modified and how?

It wouldnt be a problem if people would work together but hardly anyone speaks the same language so there is no communication. Some of them just glitch, block or dont even try. I think hero mode is fine the way t is but its no fun if you cant communicate. It sucks but that how it is in public matches.
This happened 6 times in one match when I played today

Since it is impossible to improve the communication with the other players in Public Matches, the cooperation and put an X on glitching and blocking, I think the only way to counter this is to change something ABOUT the game.
In short, if we can't change the people, let's modify (a bit) the game. -
First, no one said the Mutation and Hero modes had to be fair and allow the Soldiers to win as much as the Mutants.
Second, all it takes to win for soldiers is :
- to act like a group i.e. as soon as mutants appear, regroup at one of the easy to defend places (Port "A side", Merida & Excavation cage, Zone 13 platform, etc.)
- avoid stupid mistakes like staying on places where mutants can get you by boosting (like near the edge of the Port "A side" spot)
- not waste their primary weapon ammo on far away or alone mutants (use your pistols or don't shoot)
- have a minimum of MM weapons (mostly machine guns)
Each time I played and these conditions were met, Soldiers won (except in the presence of extreme laggers that f***ing teleport in front of you of course).
Take that example :
Look at the number of mutants, the number of soldiers, the time left. We, as soldiers, won.
M60 Adv + M60 + 2 RPK + other weapons + the Hero and 100 % power bar and believe me mutants died pretty fast (we won by time out though). As long as no one do stupid things like getting too close to the cage entrance, it's an easy win.
Conclusion : leave like it is. MM wasn't changed, HM isn't going to change. The only thing to change is the players (blockers, glitchers, idiots, etc.) -

But the thing is, like I said above, people won't change. People are now playing Mutation Mode the same way they did when it came out. People, don't learn. They are selfish and if they would think about it for a sec, then those Modes would become more fair. -

Even when they gang up, there is always someone that do a stupid action like:
- Get near the edge and get hit by a mutant ladder.
- Go for a crate... Those guy are pathetic...
- Throw a random flash or smoke grenade.
- Get near the mutant a little too much.
- Spray wherever and whenever and have no more ammo for later.
- Go knife the mutant...
I also noticed that high pingers seem to do those actions more often than low pingers*. -
I really like that mode ;d Hero is really God char with fal camo i love that gun i wait for fall what we can buy
. Another 1 + is more damage. Soldier can take more damage 0-100 % ;d And i think god idea is resp Mutants becouse that can let our get more frags. A hero lake a char is really god. He run lake a mutant ( So fast) i lake it maybe we will see a hero in char for a buy ;d lake a spop or star or gsg i bealieve so :] -

my ping affects on my mood to play :c
sowwy for going for crates, they're shiny and yellowish, they're pretty *¬*
well, i do not get near the greeny guys, they smell and have that slimy greeny thingie on them... ewwww....
