Point of Hero mode?

What is the actual point of Hero Mode?
1 person just becomes 'appearance different' to others? and has a better gun?

Is that it?
Seems a little pointless if that is all the Hero is. What special features does he get? Extra killing power? what?

Well a few things are different.

When you kill mutants you do more damage, hes good for crowed control ( with the 203 attachment on the FAL ) he can take 2 hits from a mutant before turning into one ( 3 if you have mutant armor ) and some other things.

hero mode is more of an upgraded MM. in other versions of CF, MM was completely removed because only Hero mode was played.

Hero mode adds much more needed variety to MM; normal Mutant Mode dragged on too much but getting to play as the Hero is alot of fun since there's no other weapon in the whole game like his.

the point of hero mode is to make the teams a little more balanced
but as the mutants are respaning now and the assasin can make destroy camping spot i don´t think teams are balanced now xD
but the fal camo is hot though^^

everyone has a weapon but the hero has a superb weapon^^
