CF on usb stick?

So, i couldnt do the missions for the hero ribbon this weekend, because i wasn't at home.
This weekend we can get the ribbon again and im not at home again.
So i wanted to ask if i can play CF with a USB stick.
I download t on the stick and then play it on another computer. Does this work?

Yes it does. As long as all files are in one place, and you used the CF Installer to install to that USB stick, it should work fine when you use the crossfire.exe in the Z8Games > Cross Fire folder in your USB.

Just make sure to have an internet connection before you try, and remember, you have to install to the USB, not drag and drop.

i never tried this, so you may give it a try. i think is 50/50 chances to work.

or, instead of the game, you can put on the stick the install kit. this way, you have better chances to play crossfire without problems.

what's wrong with the drag and drop?
IF IT WORK: it is recommendable to copy the content of the game folder from the stick to a local hard disk (using drag and drop or whatever method).

AND in any modern SO (i mean since win xp), usb sticks are AUTOMATICallY recognized, so there is no need of installing USB stick

I don't get it... what's your problem? (sry for bad english)

Put a copy of your installed Crossfire-File (in C:/) on your USB-Stick
Get the starting Application on your stick
G4Box

And then it should work.
You don't have to download it once again.

put in the installation icon into the usb and use it to install CF into the other computer. or just download the installation program and install it.
