my problem is when im connected and in safari, and try to reply to a thread for example a window pops out giving me options why that problem could have occoured and asks me if i wanna jump back to control panel.

I dont have an Ipod only an Ipad.. - But if its working on Ipad, it should be working on da Ipod too. Just Try. Dont give up.
