buff a crate weapon
the winchester used to be labeled as the best gun in it's crate, what happened? really. was it seen that the spraying capabilities of the tommy was better than the 2 ft one shot kill? because that's what happened. the winchester is one of (if not "the") last skill guns available and i don't worry about that because i can still get positive KDR with it (if only just). what really worries me is the fact that a BETTER version of the same CRATE weapon was released to be bought for just 40K GP (not alot to most of us by that level), the one shot kill range was increased by approx. 3m and the scope makes it rediculously accurate plus the fact that the reload speed is around 3x faster. the only advantage that the crate version has is it's extra two shots before needing to reload and that's not much considering by the time it reloads those two the scope version has reloaded half way (tested, 5 shots). can we get some kind of a buff (even a small one) to make our spent GP to get the original winchester worth it? my ideas are (choose one) change the reload speed to match the scope, make the one shot kill distance longer than the scope by 1 or 2 meters, or just switch around the guns, make the scope the crate version and the regular the GP version (this is not recommended though as many people with the scope will be angered i'd bet). i dont want the winchester overpowered. really i hate overpowered weapons but the winchester is just way too underpowered to be a crate weapon, especially with a better version for so cheap. so what's everyone's ideas on this? if you should have a better idea on how to buff the winchester i'd love to hear it

a scope, on a "one-pellet" shotgun? meh...
yea. the scope is useless on it (used it on my friends acc), it increases the accuracy to about M4 and increases the one hit range by 1ft but after that one hit range it still keeps it's same dmg (so it goes from like 100 to 50 in a matter of millimeters). -
im ok with the winchester >.> i dont really anything bad about ti
now you're kinda missing the point here, the "winny" isn't necessarily a bad gun. what i'm mostly upset about is the fact that when people who DID complain that it was a bad gun Z8 decided that the best way to appease them was to release a BETTER gun for a pretty low cost of GP, but that low cost was still too much for most of us who don't buy ZP to get. Z8 knew that too. i had no problem with the winny until this incident (i've had it since day 1 it came out), while it was a little underpowered for a crate weapon i didn't care because it was a weapon that was a good test of REAL skill. now it's an issue that it's underpowered because now there's a good version of it that's for the item shop. while we had to pay for a CHANCE at this epic weapon (mostly just the looks are epic sadly) now noobs are paying to get a better one just straight up. the worst part is that Z8 thinks that this is a GOOD solution (as proven by the fact they have done nothing to right this wrong). most of the reason why the scope is better is actually the reload speed, even though most wouldn't think so. it takes at least 30 seconds to fully reload the regular while it takes less than 10 to fully reload the scope and those 20 or so seconds are CRITICAL in this game, i've been killed more than a few times because of the slow reload. -

You can use it effectively, but not at long range, but in most cases you can find a way to get up close to ur enemy.
You have to be very accurate. or Blindrob. xD
yea. too bad it's got $^&! accuracy. and i already stated it's a skill gun. 2ldr? -

even blindrob will have to headshot the person twice if they're at 10m away from eachother >.> -

You wanna buff that monster?
lol jks, that was just pro.
i never said that NO ONE can win with that gun. and besides it took two shots to kill the last guy at 5m range and 4 to kill the first person, if you actually watch anything but the slow motion parts... i've gotten triple kills with it before, all the guys had like 15 hp mind you, but it's still vastly underpowered compared to every single other crate weapon. even the deagle camo is better than it, does two hit kills at 20m while the winny does 15-20 dmg per shot and headshots only do like 40. -

Takes 1 hs. 2 shots at high chest even.
me and my friend tried this (with the scoped winny) and at more than 20m or so it takes more than 5 headshots to kill. headshots only triple your damage (except with snipers in MM, it quintuples) headshots are only considered instant kills because most assault rifles kill in about 3 torso shots. so when the winny does only about 3 or 4 dmg at that range it's only doing somewhere around 12 damage per shot at maximum. it may be a beast at close range but that runs out REAL fast, less than 10m away does less than 50 dmg and at that range a shottie will probably kill in two or three shots, maybe a couple more because of the shotty's randomness and the winny takes 3 in 3 times the time. now how is that a beast? it's the most underpowered weapon in the game while, in it's time, it was one of the most powerful rifles in the world, it could rip through 2 men's ribs and still manage to blow straight through a wall. people hunted BEARS with this gun and would one shot them. this gun is messed up in this game. -
also, maybe you could actually READ what i said MaypleSyrup so i don't have to repeat myself 10 times? because the main point isn't the the winny is underpowered, it's mainly that the winchester-scope is pretty cheap and it's a better version of a crate weapon. it doesn't make sense, especially to us who actually have the regular because it's usually the other way around so im asking Z8 to make things balanced again, with the main source of power being in the type that's harder to get, which, oddly enough, is the original version in this case.
