Cannot change settings!

Hey there i got a problem:
I can't change any settings except sound by clicking default and save, all other settings don't get saved. This sux cause screen is on 800x600 and gamma is automatically on 0 and all is dark -.-

can someone help me?

try reinstallin or . click right on cf.exe/proprieties/ check the boxes: run as administrator and windows sp3 version /apply/ok try it then

i already tried to redownload+ reinstall it but didn't work, im using win xp can't find the box for administator i can onlz run as admin but that don't change it. sorry for bad english

ah i tought you where on windows 7 . sorry for that . did crossfire run on earlier points or did it always do that ? cause if for example yes****ay it was ok you could use system restore to get it back
