Did the MINIMI reload get shortened?

Somebody in one of my hero mode games that had a MINIMI said that after the patch the reload got faster, is this true or is that guy lieing?

it does seem like it does reload a bit faster, doesnt really natter in modes other than mutant though, no need to reload in S&D with that many rounds in your clip ^^
