FPS Lag on Certain Maps

maybe all that special effects of the light need alot of w/e its called from your computer to run smoothly(not a computer wiz either :P). it may help if you set your visuals to LOW and before you turn on crossfire, make your computer's screen resolution 800x600

I don't know if this would be possible but maybe the size of the map?
I do know that I always get lag of spammers and too much ppl and in the past I also had troubles with smokes (Lost Relics has water thats constantly moving for the effect maybe that could be a problem too, not sure ) -
