Better Graphics

Hello everyone and Hi!

So I am playing CF Since September 2010 and I really liked everything in it except those damn hackers(which are almost in every fps game) and THE GRAPHICS.

While I do know that this game is meant to be played by everyone, I still want much more realistic effects in it.It should be our choice of whether to enable good graphics or not.The recent earth-shake effect by grenades is cool and I really like it when it disturbs your scope.These things make FPS Games more realistic and cooler.Its a free game, ok I accept it but I think the revenues made from ads etc and ZPs are enough for you to afford server costs

So please consider my suggestion.I dont want really huge eyecandy(Like COD or something) thing but any addition in graphics sector would be cooler.

No offence but just think some farther, would CF be cool if it looked like MW2?
It would take alot of place cause the graphics are bigger, more detailed and this will have effect on your FPS and it may slow your pc down, Crossfire doesn't have to be awesome, its the gameplay thats making it awesome

ps: Spops en m12s are ruining it atm but what ever.. :l

i love if there is been more resolution change.. like 1600x1050 for widescreen users... i love it..

True but crossfire is a really smooth game.. oke the graphics aren't that amezing but to be fair.. how many ppl lag on COD's compared with Crossfire?

I think crossfire did a good job.

I'm always hoping for larger Texture resolutions,
The ones we have look like Absolute Crap.
Also, the death animations could use some work.

the Korean CrossFire I beleive has different graphics which look more realistic, would be interesting seeing those in our version.

@Jeepmpy No I dont want it like MW2 When I said I dont want it like COD i meant all those eyecandy games.I wouldnt name them all, cmon lol.I know that.:)

And a bit more resolution and texture smoothing wont do much harm I think.For most PCs now crossfire works ok...and a bit more improvements wont make it like MW2

the game is not bad it had decent graphic but increseign that might soem cpus not ot run cf due to the lack of ram and etc...

Thanks everyone who likes the idea

And people are repeatedly saying that it might slow down the game.Well by default the graphics should be the way they are now.We should have options to improve the resolutions and texture smoothing,shadows etc etc

Better graphics, i don't know, 1920x1080 resulotion would be kinda epic but it's not really needed. Besides graphics are good enough already.

and z8 would get more players who stay on the game.. but this means a lot of work too!

for me the graphics are good. and i play in a basic computer, FPS 50. If they change the graphics, i'll almost can't play.

The graphics are OK. Could be better qnd i hope they will improve them in the future but its really not too bad if u look at games like soldierfront for example.

So graphics like the Chinese CF trailer? I guess that's fine as long as there's an option to change qualities like Low setting = our current graphics and High setting = Chinese CF trailer. +1
