Yes, any perm weapon counts even if you have duplicates.

yes that works, all rifles, SMG, pistols, shotguns, machine guns, snipers are counted. Ive got my 25 gun ribbon by buying the same pistol more then once.

All perma guns pistols included count towards your count. Temp weapons count as well. Im getting this from other posts.
