Agreed that hero mode is basically mutant mode. To be honest I was pretty excited to have the Hero and damage increase mod, but most I've gotten is like 50% damage boost, and I like my RPK better than that FAL camo thingy; it takes too long to reload, grenade mode doesn't switch as fast as I'd like, grenades don't even blow mutants back all that much.

As someone else mentioned, people keep running in and getting turned, then it's basically the hero and maybe two other people vs 9 mutants. There was a lot of hype for this one but I think it'll go the way of MM as a kind of novelty mode and not have many skilled people playing it.

new guns are cool. z8 showed their cheapness by not putting any valuable gp stuff but a tiger hat. but its matching backpack is zp. it made me rofl, how sad.
