The mouse and keyboard freezing any suggestions?

I have this issue but it only happened recently, the mouse and keys will just feel like they stick for 1-2 seconds and u cant shoot or move the way u want too, it seems to only be in CF doesnt happen in CSS or just when im browsing the internet, could it possibly be a software conflict? or is it a hardware problem? anyone got any suggestions ?

I think i fixed the problem with the mouse and keyboard~

What i done i uninstalled CF, downloaded the newest version, installed it onto a external hard drive rather than my internal one it was just a shot in the dark but for the first 5-6 games it has been perfect not stuck so fingers crossed and i will keep this thread updated
