I've been wondering, whats the difference between having 1 person icon next to a friends name in the friends list and having 2 people icons next to them. I joined a friends game and after he went offline under 1 person, I cant even select his name.

i am not positive but it may be because they deleted you or didn't add you.

Hmmm how do I delete someone I can't select

No sense in having them in my list still.

2 persons = An actual friend, that has accepted your friend invitation.
1 person = Either he declined the friend partenership, or he deleted you from friends list

Go to the friend list icon in the top right, there you can remove ppl from the list
