Lost my Honorable Soldier Ribbon. Thoughts?

So here's my deal. I had Crossfire open but in windowed mode and minimized. I was playing a game on bubblebox (Game site like addicting games) called Pwong and I decided to open cheat engine. My Crossfire closed and I was banned for about an hour and a half to 2 hours and I lost my ribbon.

Here's why I'm making this thread. I did not hack crossfire. I had no intentions to hack crossfire. X-Fire simply detected Cheat Engine and shut down, which is understandable.

I have 16 ribbons and I would have 17 and I'll be honest, I want an M4 custom crystal pretty badly. I just think this is very unfair. I feel like I deserve my honorable soldier ribbon considering the situation.

So what are your thoughts?

Cheat Engine was used to hack CF at one point which is why XTrap detected it. You shouldnt need to be cheating in any game anyway

They probly wont give your ribbon back.

I was unaware of that. I mean I guess I could have figured since it is used for cheating obviously.
But really, I only use it for simple games like defense games, or even a simpler game such as pwong (Go ahead and google it, play it). I would never hack in a multilayer game.

You're probably right dark. I'm just hoping =/

Maybe you should try to kept all spammer at 999, so that they font receive their 20th ribbon and don't get the m4cc.

(i will reach the 1000 posts one day, but i do not need it for the m4cc, then its fine ;-)

hmmmm i guess mistakes can be made at the end of the day but its more than likely that you wont get your ribbon back. because really if you have this done for you then others who have had similar things happen to them would start wanting the same treatment.

at the end of the day giggletron is correct you shouldnt need to cheat in any game. if your bad at it dont play it lol.

its like me and starcraft 2 doing the campaign on brutal, im not to good at the game so i just use the cheat codes so my forces are invinsible, even though god mode and everything was added by blizzard :P point is i keep trying without cheats so. so eventually the more you try the more it pays off the better you become

why exactly you used those cheats for?

z8 would think that if you used the cheat engine for another game, there is no garuantee that you wont use it to hack this game since you admited to using it on another game.

ether way you would still not have it since if they looked into it you would be banned while under investiagtion which is part of the ribbions requirements.

Yeah you are right. I Don't really care about that ribbon so much anymore. I am bummed but it's whatever I guess. I just don't think it's very fair.
