It would be modding the rez files. It is illegal because if I can mod my cross-hairs, why can't you mod the guns in the files (since they are in the same rez files.

Umm I think you have to edit the .tga files using adobe Photoshop. I don't know where the files would be lOcated. I'm not 100% sure though

They are located in the .rez files. If you modify those files, it is basically like hacking the game. Don't do it unless you want to be banned.

Step 3 - Use a rifle
Step 4 - Own noobs with your epic smiley crosshair
