why don't we have some in-game mod that ban's people using hacks?
Just hire some people and let them work say different shifts and ban hackers in the game, instead of watching replays, which was time consuming and there would be many false replays (pro players viewed as hacks by noobs). Right now the hacks are very obvious in almost every game I joined, like 1 shot-kill, walk through wall, aimbot etc. If this gets implemented I think the number of hackers would drop from what we have now.

Just auto-ban anyone with TR BR or GER in their names.

Right, the mods really take the time to read all these posts. Besides, it takes at most 2 minutes to read this entire thread.
I try to play Crossfire for R&R except most of these days I leave the game more frustrated than when I join. It's really not fun when I join a game to find 4 hackers who I tried to get kicked, only to get kicked myself when the BR players gang up on me. I do save replays on the most blatant hackers (running through walls, spinning, etc.) and send support tickets, only to see those players STILL playing without any repercussions.
This is why 80% of the threads these days are about hackers. -

Same. I've sent in so many... and when I look at their profiles it shows they have played recently. Someone from Z8 even said they had it taken care of, and when I checked their profile it said they had played a day ago. The report was responded 2 weeks ago. -

well to be honest im pretty dissapointed myself. all this hacks not to mentions Brasilian Players with noob accounts shooting from a spaceship 1 shot kill..but you know what?? just keep pressing F11 F11 F11. with all this hack i turned myself into a QQuer... can't stand the hack im think about abandoning this game .. -

Thats the most stupid thing I have heard. You can always do something.
The replay system is time consuming for both part. The sender (not so much) and the reviewer. In game moderator would be a another solution.
Auto-ban system, well, since we have no numbers, difficult to say if it is effective or not. But like last time, just before the patch, a wave of hackers are inside the game (probably public hack going out). Then It seems no to be so effective. I hope it will improve in the next 6 months.
The players... There are not enough mature player. Player prefer to keep hacker to win the missions... When they lose, they will kick if they can, the best adverse player, legit or not. Lots of whining. Players who do not know how to use kick vote sytem. So so and so. -

though the suggestion is out of place in the wrong part of the board, it is still a suggestion, and therefore I will argue on it.
I believe, if I remember correctly, that Saidin made a statement a while back explaining why the MOD's have no in-game powers... something to do with abuse I think?.... I don't remember too well at 1:15AM right now...
anyways, it isn't just the MOD's reviewing the replays, there is a support team out there that is reviewing and making the decision to either pass the word to a GM to ban, or else that support team has the power to initiate the ban itself.
The problem that I believe you seek, is why there is a continuation of the 7day ban, when it is pretty obvious that most hackers just create new accounts as soon as the former account gets banned, plays on new account till that gets banned, and already the 7days are up and back to account #1.
I do agree with the OP, to the extent that there should be more auto perm bans for the obv hacks out there, such as aimbot, walk through walls, 1shots.

Obviously in-game mods/admins would have to be chosen carefully and given a probation period to see how they do. I would suggest giving in-game mods the ability to only kick people. Replay reports by in-game mods would be given a higher priority by Saidin, et al.
This would be worth a try to improve the quality of gameplay in this community. -

there will never be a permanent solution to hacks, and xtrap works fine once they update it. (which z8 has no control over)
if you have a better solution to the replay system, please, enlighten me with your brilliant schemes. -

Are 80% of the BR or TR or GER players hacking? Might not, right?
So if someone ban all the NA players and said we can get rid of 25% hackers (it might be true, because some day there were more hackers in day time), will you get mad?
