And here i say u are wrong.
With some practise u can kill one shot with the dragunov nearly every time.
But fact is u need practise to do it.
It is no: I-hit-the-lil-finger-and-hes-death-AWM.
U need practise which u dont get after palying one game, or one week.
But tell me just one person in this game, that even tried to get skills with the Dragunov.
U can count them wihtout even removing ur socks, cause all go the easy way, teh AWM way, the sure kill way.
Pls tell me more than 5 ppl, that used the Dragunov again longer than 2 weeks, before switching to the AWM cause its easier to use.
Go find someone whos good with the Dragunov and u will see.Sweetheart, like I said before, with some practice you can do that with just about any rifle. But that's not the point. The point is, if you don't have that kind of practice, then that 1 shot has to count. Thus you ultimately would pick either the AWM or the DSR-1. If you do have the practice, then ultimately a light weight rifle or a fast firing rifle becomes the better choice, and thus you would pick either the M700 for its light weight, or the PSG-1/MSG90 for its speed.
There is no reason to pick the Dragunov. Its not reliable as a guarantied 1-shot-kill, nor is it light or fast. Its outperformed by other rifles on all fronts. It has no feature that makes it stand out. Its only slightly faster and slightly lighter than the AWM, but suffers for it in power and accuracy, causing it to do only 99 damage to the torso. Only the head and abdomen are guarantied a 1-shot-kill. Sorry, but with the torso being such a large past of the body, being slightly less in everything than the AWM is not worth the risk. And if you're gonna go for the head anyway, then the speed of the PSG-1/MSG90, or the ability to move quickly with the M700 makes up for its lack in power when you hit the chest instead.
Conclusion: The Dragunov just isn't good enough to be a first choice, no matter what your style or level of skill is.

How much wannabe pros u met in game who think: og wow, i bought an AWM im gonna be so pro and than start crying hack-kick-f11 when u kill em? More than some real pros that can actually hit with AWM.
Actually in my eyes teh Dragunov is the best gun if u want to rush especially in a sniper match, which is the style i play the most time.
If there is no armour (which most dont consider, cause its one of the most worthless zp items in this game) i can one shot ppl with no problems and after most ppl expect every other sniper rifle its pretty easy to kill 3 or 4 others in a row.
With AWM /DSR they expect the slow firing speed to get their chance to kill u.
With M700 / PSG / MSG normal expectation is to take some damage and then kill.
Both dont work with a skilled Dragunov user.
And after all in my eyes the Dragunov is the easiest gun for no-scopes and fast enough to kill the noob knifer running at me, cause they expect any other gun too.
As i see it, the Dragunov isnt the best rifle but neither is it the crap u wanna make it.
U can stand ur ground with it, but it needs alot of practise and dedication till u have it (killing ur K/D while getting the practise

For me the Dragunov fits more my stile of play, maybe not urs but dont say its crap, cause it isnt.
Just lets say its for players who arent taking the game to serious und are able to lose and still can play again

DSR-1: Camper/Position Defense Sniper
PSG-1/MSG90: All-Round Sniper
M700: Sniper On-The-Move
Dragunov: Crap*
* (meaning: No matter what you try to use it for, you could have gotten a better sniper for the job.)

AWM does take skills...There are just better guns for every situation that the Dragunov so its not terribly useful. I personally like DSR, only drawback is that you cant pull out of the scope immediately.

Its a Dragunov, and that's all it is. It doesn't stand out among it competitors. And if a rifle doesn't stand out, its obsolete.
