Ideas, Ideas, Ideas.

Okay, so here are some things I think would have a positive impact in Crossfire.
Please feel free to share comments or criticism.

Partially customizable characters;
I think this would add a little something to the gameplay in Crossfire.
My idea is that any backpack, helmet or anything that serves no function (+10%EXP, etc.) should have no time limit. This would allow for a basic form of character customization, make Crossfire more attractive to new players and would make a lot of existing players happier. Also, since the system to do it is already in place, it wouldn't be hard to actually implement.

Land mines (such as the POMZ-2);
The idea behind this is that once someone approaches a mine it will detonate killing anyone near it. Although the main concern here is with the balance of the game, it can be made a permanent GP item, and the stats can be lowered so that no one team gets an unfair advantage.
Should be equipped to a grenade slot.
Pros:
it would allow players to protect areas they don't want enemies to be, Medium damage.
Cons:
Small Blast Radius, Delayed detonation, Cannot detect ghosts, Only available to Staff Sergeant or higher.
Adv. Version: Large blast radius, Instant detonation.

Medical bag;
When equipped, it be dropped on the ground so any player may use it to heal 50% damage.
Pros: It would allow players to heal themselves or others.
Cons: Only one medical bag per round or life, The bag is automatically dropped at death, Can be used by enemies.
Adv. Version: heals 75% damage.

Special Operations Missions;
These would be an extra mission that's far more difficult then the standard mission, but would have far greater rewards.
EXAMPLE:
Mission: Get 5 kills in 5 seconds in (Random game mode) on (Random Map)
Reward: SG552 Permanent.
