i just learned about balancing equations and i wanna know if i did this correctly

i need to balance

C3H8+02>>>>CO2+H20

I got

C3H8+5O2>>>3CO2+4H2O

yes u did it right

..... if memory serve me right it is an oxidation of propane. Learnt this like 2 years ago :P

well the problem is on ur reactant side C has 6 atoms while on ur product C has 3 only, hence it is not a balanced equation.
