help!
a while back my ingame ping was spiking... my internet was secure no way. not i got a new provider again with 10mb/s transfer or w.e and i have the same problem. on my last provider i used to reset the modem and it worked.. after the 3rd time (about 3 weeks later) it started to happen again... my current provider the technician came and told me not to reset the internet or u'll screw up ur security

Uninstall Pando Media Booster if you so have that. It eats your bandwidth. (Do note it's a peer-to-peer software, which is what are inside Torrents. Oh yeah, it's that bad.)
Close the background programs and services.
Use Game Booster.
Do a virus-scan once in a while!
