Community is rotten
While someone is still boasting that their skill might make others think he is hacking. He might already joined the group of hackers.
The community is rotten. Almost every game has to have a hacker to ruin it.
Today I have seen 3 in one game, two of my teammate running under ground. I start a vote, end up with 8:6.
I also found the clan is not trustable. A guy named deco333 who is wearing a crazy_love clan tag, ruin a game in which half of them are with bars. Guess what, vote kick still can not be success.
It seems the majority of the community not care about the fair play any more. If this is a game's educational effect on the youth, it should be a fail.
Clan leader, be careful about your team member.

i don't really think there are much hackers. i mean usually u can tell - 1-shots, wallers, fly or speed hacks. Most chances are that these "hackers" are just fricken pro or just lucky. I sometimes get accused of hacking, and they seem to really believe i do (which i don't obviouslly).
-
Hacking really isn't a problem in this game anymore, it's glitching. First of all when people go underground they are:
A)Humping a box, corner, trash can
B)Being pushed into wall by friend.
Besides the community is alright you just need to troll around with another player who is equally or is better than you so they call him the hacker and not you. -

C) They have the "walk through wall" hack and made their way underneath the map.
Please, know your hacks. -

Right now I just don't count 1 shot kill as hack. That need skills at least.
Hacking is:
When you see someone running in and out of the blocks and walls
When you see bullet flying up from underground, or you see two of your teammate's tag is under sea level
When you see someone on roof shot lots of heads in both side of his map in 2 seconds
When one of your teammate rotate so fast that you can not read his tag and don't know whom to kick
I have thought the vote system failed, because some guy in game told me that the hacker have anti-kick. But later on when we successfully kicked the hacker, I knew there were someone really want some hacker in game.
I personally very serious about kicking. But after ignore the vote and cause the hacker not kicked, and was waiting so long for the other side to start a vote kick, I became inpatient. So I vote yes on every vote kick once I saw a hacker, and the player I have never played with.
Yeah, I know they saying is tough for many, but I think it is a fact now. So I might find a clan to join, but till now it seems that many clan have cheaters (or they just try the waller code?).
Anyway, I report above 10 hackers last week. Now when I want to continue report, I found I have too many saved plays. Oh, come on, I saw a player I reported long ago. He was hacking again. So ***ced up, ok, I think I would not bother doing it any more. Why should I stay there to being killed many times to just save a replay?
Today I really see a game with more than 4 hackers. So once hacker reach this level, it remind me of war rock. That was once a good game, I mean, more fun than this. And it was ruined by hackers.
So how to say, the community is rotten because number of hackers are increasing, it is rotten because many would not give a vote to kick a hacker, it is rotten because lots of pros in the forum still insist that pro-like is hacker-like, and it is rotten because some legit player have give up the attempt and suggested live with it, and it is rotten because some one still think we are currently the best community, so even there is hacker, we are still the best.
From now on, I would vote yes for every kick if I don't now the player. I don't care how his score looks like. Kick for hacker and kick for support hacker is same. -
Right now I just don't count 1 shot kill as hack. That need skills at least.
Meh, what skill does it need ? It's hacking in its purest form. Good player try to aim for the head to one shot, those *******s just have to spray to do it.When you see someone running in and out of the blocks and walls
When you see bullet flying up from underground, or you see two of your teammate's tag is under sea level
When you see someone on roof shot lots of heads in both side of his map in 2 seconds
When one of your teammate rotate so fast that you can not read his tag and don't know whom to kick
Wow, I haven't seen this obvious **** for ages. The last hacks I witnessed were one shot hack, wall hack and aimbot (with and without the spin).I have thought the vote system failed, because some guy in game told me that the hacker have anti-kick. But later on when we successfully kicked the hacker, I knew there were someone really want some hacker in game.
What game mode was it ? Was it during a mission, specially a Win-based mission ?
In some modes, people don't care about kick votes, TD for example. They just play and most of the time half of the player don't vote, hence the denial.
Sometimes when the mission are win, yes, people are desperate enough about it to F12 hackers that make them win.I personally very serious about kicking. But after ignore the vote and cause the hacker not kicked, and was waiting so long for the other side to start a vote kick, I became inpatient. So I vote yes on every vote kick once I saw a hacker, and the player I have never played with.
Annnnnd that explains how legit players get kicked without a good reason.
If you are serious about kicking, you shouldn't do that. You should always take the time to be sure about the guy people want to kick. In fact you shouldn't F11 if you didn't follow him in 1st person (after you died ofc) for enough time. Even then, some people mistake the use of sound or logic for hack.Oh, come on, I saw a player I reported long ago. He was hacking again.
Welcome to the club. I always keep a link to the profile page of player I reported for OBVIOUS hack (spinning aimbot + one shot for example). 2/3 of them played in the last days, and half of them still have the honourable soldier ribbon.
Either so many people report that the staff can't keep up or the system isn't efficient. Why should I stay there to being killed many times to just save a replay?
You know you can save the replay even if you quitted the game before it finished. There is a guide about that somewhere. So how to say, the community is rotten because number of hackers are increasing
The number of hackers in CF will always follow a sawtooth graph : /\/\/\/\
A new hack is released, more and more people start using it to the point the game is half full of hackers. Then, because of bans and patches, the number of hackers decrease again (never reaching 0 though). Rinse and repeat.
Right now, I have to disagree with you because compared to a few weeks ago, I think we are on a decreasing slope.it is rotten because many would not give a vote to kick a hacker
Like I explain, either people don't care about the vote kick, want the hacker to help them win, or simply don't think the guy hack. When someone tries to kick me, it fortunately doesn't always work (for a good reason since I don't hack).it is rotten because lots of pros in the forum still insist that pro-like is hacker-like
You don't even need to be a pro to look like a hack to people not bothered to understand some basic things.
Take GM for example. Should you use sound to detect immobile ghost and shoot at them accurately, you are sure to be called a hack.
Heck, sometimes, just killing someone makes you a hack, even if the guy was in front of you and you sprayed your full magazine to kill him.it is rotten because some legit player have give up the attempt and suggested live with it
You said it yourself, reporting isn't efficient. What else can we do ? Kicking is a bad thing since most of the time, legit players get kicked (sometimes because they are genuinely mistaken for hackers, sometimes just for the lulz).
The anti hack measures are improved regularly too, to the point it may keep the hackers to a low enough level.
So yes, live with it.it is rotten because some one still think we are currently the best community, so even there is hacker, we are still the best.
Even if we are the best, we are still bad IMHO. I'm talking about the in-game community, not the forum. Too much QQers to be enjoyable. If the host could deactivate the public chat in a room settings, maybe that would help making the game nicer with less QQ spam. From now on, I would vote yes for every kick if I don't now the player. I don't care how his score looks like. Kick for hacker and kick for support hacker is same.
Do you play on UK server ? If yes, can I have your IGN ?
It's just so that if I see you in a room, I can GTFO immediately.
Oh, and you should add : the community is rotten because of people like you that misuses the kick voting system on purpose. -
100% true. 60% the time when I start vote kicks against hackers, they end up not beeing kicked, because my F4ggot Team"mates" wanna win. While someone is still boasting that their skill might make others think he is hacking. He might already joined the group of hackers.

You cant blame community for this.. Its called human nature..
Most people can tell right from wrong, but as long as it doesnt effect them, why would they care?
There are people who actually hacks, there are people who dont care about hackers, there are paranoid people who can see hacks everywhere; still there is nothing wrong about community, its in the people, not in the game which brought them together..
You can cry about it, you can swear, still this is not gonna change.. Ever. -
THE ONE SHOT IS TOO HARD TO DETECT IF PLAYER LAGS, AND IS MEANLESS TO ARGUE WHEN THERE ARE DEFINITELY BULLET FLYING OUT FROM WALL AND UP FROM UNDER GROUND. COMPARATIVELY, 1 SHOT KILL NEED AIM AT LEAST. YOU MIGHT WANT TO SAY THAT YOU ARE DAMN GOOD. IT IS OK, FIND A RIGHT PLACE TO SAY IT.JurydesEnfer wrote: »Meh, what skill does it need ? SO, YOU ARE JUST LUCKY. OR MAYBE JUST NOT SENSITIVE. OR JUST BEING PRESS YOUR MOUSE AND BE HAPPY WITH THE BENEFIT. OR YOU JUST HACK YOURSELF.JurydesEnfer wrote: »What game mode was it ? Was it during a mission, specially a Win-based mission ?

TDM, THAT IS WHY I SAY IT IS ROTTEN. ONCE THE HACKER IS ON THEIR SIDE, EVERYONE SEEMS NOT CARE. WHEN HACKER IS ON OTHER SIDE, THEY COMPLAIN.
WEIRD IS WHEN I START A VOTE LAST NIGHT ON HACKER ON MY SIDE, WE GOT 1:7. SO AFTER A WHILE, MANY STARTS TO SAY KICK HACKERS. OK, I CAN NOT START IT AGAIN, AND I CAN NOT PERSUADE OTHERS TO START IT. SO EAT IT.JurydesEnfer wrote: »Annnnnd that explains how legit players get kicked without a good reason. If you are serious about kicking, you shouldn't do that. WHEN I KICK THEM, I WILL FIRST POST MY REASON. I NORMALLY SAY: "PUNISH GR SIDE FOR THE SUPPORT TO THE HACKER". THAT IS FAIR FOR THEM. I KNOW THEY CAN COME BACK AFTER THE NEXT GAME. SO IT IS FAIR FOR THEM ANOTHER TIME.
I remember a name I reported last year (JUNE). I remember because I have a text file to record them. And I think I saw him Friday-Saturday.JurydesEnfer wrote: »Welcome to the club. Guess what, my saved replay in last week exceeds all I made last year. SO IT IS ROTTEN, see? I spend about 2 hours to report the first group (the week before last). And I found I have much much more this week. I got scared to report it --- I spent the time but might have done nothing at all, at least I have a sample of my own.JurydesEnfer wrote: »You know you can save the replay even if you quitted the game before it finished. I have known it from warrock. And I know the overall tendency will grow. Once a hacker, always a hacker. And once there are many hackers, players will have to leave.JurydesEnfer wrote: »The number of hackers in CF will always follow a sawtooth graph : /\/\/\/\

Just watch your team, I know my teammate hacks when I saw someone disappears toward wall, I know it when I saw my teammate rotate back and constantly kill ppl on two end, I know it when I saw my teammate is in the pillar, and I know it when I saw their tag are underground. So IF YOU WANT TO PUT YOURSELF IN A HACKER TALKING TOPIC, IT IS OK. SO WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY SIGNS AND YOU WOULD NOT EVEN PAY ATTENTION TO, YOU EITHER WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OR JUST CAN NOT HAVE TIME TO NOTICE. BUT WE KNOW THE LATER IS WRONG WHEN YOU CAN SEE THEIR CHATTING.JurydesEnfer wrote: »Like I explain, either people don't care about the vote kick, want the hacker to help them win, or simply don't think the guy hack. I never play GM, so I would not comment. But in TDM, I know pros never look like hackers. I know because they aimed faster but never exceeds that a human being can reach. I know because most time I have seen them when I got killed.JurydesEnfer wrote: »Kicking is a bad thing since most of the time, legit players get kicked (sometimes because they are genuinely mistaken for hackers, sometimes just for the lulz).
When I says someone is hacking, I might have mistake because the tag sometimes is not readable. When I start a vote to kick someone, he is definitely hacking.
But when a game is with over 3 hackers (I have several experience recently), and votes get failed again and again, I would like to kick everyone from the game except the hacker, if I can.
That is what I proposed last year and this year. Every player need a button to be pressed before respawn, so that they have time to vote, and they can choose to make hackers have no one to kill.
I guess you would not understand --- give an example, in fortress, you will get killed by hackers either shoot through wall or shoot under ground, you know where they are but unfortunately, you can not even hide.JurydesEnfer wrote: »Even if we are the best, we are still bad IMHO. Again, I know you want to show that you are so good that that get kicked for vote kick.JurydesEnfer wrote: »Do you play on UK server ? If yes, can I have your IGN ?

No, I don't play there, and I am glad you GTFO by yourself. Otherwise, you might get kicked for not voting.JurydesEnfer wrote: »Oh, and you should add : the community is rotten because of people like you that misuses the kick voting system on purpose.
Yes, that is another point I want to make. This is how the situation get worse. When you have seen lots of hackers in game, and you have no idea who it is, then you will get mad and might vote yes on everything.
So what the point that your guys cries to be vote kicked? To prove you are as good as hacker? And if so many of your pros are as good as hacker, how would you expect you should not got kicked? -

So when the hackers is on the other side, why these players start to cries, please kick the hackers? So if the community would not like play game and enjoy the fairness, why can't we say it is rotten? -
I would say out of a 16 player game that im in (just a pub without my clan members/friends there) there are probably 2-3 (might be a little high) out of the 16 players are cool to talk to.
If it wasnt for the players I have made friends with and my clan members I dont know if I would play as much as I do. But none the less I would still play. -
Mod
What we need is a mod, in game.
Just for one hour.
BAN a few hackers (even if just one day).
Now for the good part.
The broadcast there name. (like the 2011 video contest gets broadcast)
And over 50% of the hackers will flee in panic.
Now this is a reasonable, and easily implementable idea. -

Lol, option B happened on a mass scale in a power plant match i was in. I went down the side corridor in the enemy side and found half the enemy team trying to push each other into the wall. Looked like an orgy of idiots XD. Best part is i came in and started killing them one by one and the others just kept trying to glitch. -
So when the hackers is on the other side, why these players start to cries, please kick the hackers? So if the community would not like play game and enjoy the fairness, why can't we say it is rotten?
Well you could probably say that, i just dont think it is right..
Community itself isnt that bad, you can see it for example on this thread.. People here think reasonable and so, but most of the common players dont..
What i mean is that there is certain part of the community which is rotten, but just because people, who belong to this part, are "rotten" too..
It might seem like exaggerating, but this is how society works these days (at least in advanced countries) and it doesnt matter if it is in game or in real life..
The very same people, who would yell at you that you didnt help when they were robbed in front of your eyes, would move a finger to help you if you are robbed.
The very same principle as with the kicking hackers in game..
My point is: you can cry, you can blame, but it really wont change; people arent dependent on the other people as they used to be, so they dont have to care and when they dont have to care, why would they do anything to please you?
Its nice some can tell right from wrong and what more, even act according to that, but it never be majority of people, no matter where (game, society or bloody universe).
Sorry for that long post, i know youre basically right, it just doesnt sound right to me to blame community when the problem lies on the bigger scale..
