Visa gift card

Under which credit card payment option would I use a visa gift card? Would I just use the standard credit card one, or one of the other payment options? Or do they even work?

The standard "credit card" option. I suggest adding name/address on the listed website on the back of the card before hand.

What do you mean by adding name/address cause my name and address are already on the card.

Just use it through the regular credit card one. I dont know what that guy is talking about? I have never had to do that.

I said "suggest". In case you plan on doing other online shopping too or w.e. I got a gift card and added my address and such before hand. It's not necessary.

To use a pre-paid VISA Credit Card, you have to activate it to be used online by going to the website listed on the back of the card, located usually at the top. (Above the black line) and then you go from there, if you don't do this; your card won't allow you to purchase anything. If you use PayPal, Google Checkout, etc. and you haven't done this, you will loose 1$ each time it is unsuccessful.

There's actually a little bit more going on here than just a straight up answer.

Prepaid credit cards provide the user with the ability to purchase things with a set amount of money wherever credit cards are accepted.

However for things like online purchases, there may be other factors that are involved in verification in order to process the transaction.

For example, if you go to a store that uses a swiper-style machine to make an imprint of a card and you have a prepaid visa without raised numbers, you won't be able to make a purchase.

The same is true for something online, some Prepaid Credit Cards have no CVN (the number on the back). Some times prepaid credit cards can't be used because of an address check, or some other verification.

Unfortunately the best answer we have in this case is Trial and Error.

You can attempt to use the card, and enter in as much information as is necessary or that you want to provide. If it fails then it is one of those cases where it won't be accepted. If it goes through then great! You've successfully used it.

If you use the prepaid credit card and for some reason the transaction fails you won't be charged, but as all things credit and banking make sure to keep your receipts of everything in case something further goes wrong.

Additionally, as with all "credit" type payments, you cannot pay charge backs off with a prepaid credit card.

Prepaid credit cards are designed to work the same way as a credit card, but rest assured that as soon as you punch the number into the system, the credit verification knows immediately whether its a prepaid card or not. It's at that step the system will determine whether or not it can be accepted.

Sorry if this sounds complicated or inconvenient. Prepaid Credit Cards are still relatively new in the banking system and all the situations and standards haven't been developed in full yet.

Thanks Saidin on the update. So the gift card visa's and stuff should work then because they look like a real credit card with all the numbers required.

Well I just got a $200 dollar pre paid visa. Wanted to buy 50k Zp, but not a single method will work with my registered card and perfect information. Just another spot where CF lacks, even the GM didnt know what he was talking about (BOO). I guess you guys just dont want my money >.<

More info - My card just worked first try on a different game. So Cf, you should probably get your **** together if you want to make any money.

I always had issues with Prepaid CC's and my Debit/ATM card. So i ran everything through Paypal. Never had a problem.

visa giftcard again

hi i was realy upset cause i want to buy zp and i try it in credit card option in deposit section but its not working my gift card has a security code and i try it a lot and its not working now my account is block from buying using visa its time i buy from my visa card card this thing appears 'This transaction has been denied.
Reason:Failed to pass security validations"" even when i enter buddieshop and click on visa "This transaction has been denied.
Reason:Failed to pass security validations" this thing appears its been 4 months since that happen and until now i cant buy z8 points anymore. theres no problem in other mmorpg games that i played only this game got a problem using visa gift card. gm plss make something where visa gift card can be accepted easily so I or us who do not own a personal visa card can buy z8 points.

Even in paypal you can have problems with prepaid visa cards
and than when you buy ZP here with your paypal account it can have a chargeback and get your account blocked

so it's better to buy with the paypal account(the prepaid visa should be charged on this account) a UGC or Walliecard or other Prepaid card that z8games accepts!

If there is a chargeback with paypal than it won't be blamed on your z8games account and get blocked for it...

I never trust paypal anymore the sometimes just do random chargeback and ask for information as my bank account but I never gave them that and the ask it to verify my account but I never filled that in so why the even ask for it... so ya... paypal bunch of thief's imo!!!!

visa gift card

gm i got questions to ask. i got a giftcard it got a number of card in a expiration date and a security code at the back. this card i try it on buddieshop but This transaction has been denied.
Reason:Failed to pass security validations. this thing appears then i try it maybe 5 times its still not working but when i try it again "This transaction has been denied.
Reason:Failed to pass security validations. it appears and i cant connect to buddies shop and credit card section whats is happening in it? even when i log in another account i cant enter did my IP address just block for purchasing z8games using visa gift card? how will i unblock it? i dont have personal visa card plss make something to make it easier to buy z8 point using just
visa gift card for all the people who dont own personal visa card.

gm can you make citizensbank visa gift card or vanilla master card be accepted in z8 games im from toronto and i cant find game card that you accepted here in my place i try to search in a lot of stores but nothing they dont know what kind of card it is plss..
