Can't play CF anymore

I have been playing for over a year and what-not.. My normal ping has always been 80. I have been experiencing a problem ever since the x-mas patch that my ping would spike from 80 to 150 and stay there for no reason at all.. At 9:00AM my ping was completely normal. 80 ping and I was pwning all that time. Then at 12:30, my ping spiked over 150. So I thought, heh it might just go back down... It never did.... Also the previous days, It jumps to 150, then spikes even higher to over 200 usually at 5pm..
If this keeps up, I'm just gonna have to quit CF for good... I'm not gonna play if I can't have my normal ping. I tried all the fixes, I called my provider, there's nothing wrong at all on my side.. I've even played different games and had my normal ping at the same time that my ping would be 200 in CF.. So this only gives me the conclusion that the problem is on the CF side, not the user side..

Are you on cable?

These sound like regular times for a boost in peoples computer usage when the get home from work or lunch.

yes this need to be fixed my ping doubled too since early decembre patch on all UK servers.

I play with and without cable. I go to my friends house and I play cable there,since he's closer his normal ping on cable is 50. But even on cable, it spikes to 60. Then it keeps getting worse. On my router, same spot that I've been playing for a year with the same laptop, with the same providers, my normal ping is 80. And in the mornings my ping is 85, at noon time it gets to 150 and becomes almost unplayable. Then at 5pm or so, my ping spikes to over 250. Even tho i havent moved, even tho no one else is using the connection and so on...

yes i think its the patch too. because my usually runs around 75 and since the last update im usually running about 200 and goes even as high as 500 in evenings. im just gonna give up and stop playing cf if they dont fix this problem soon.
p.s. its not my isp
i have ping test my isp and its around 56
