btw i assumed it was vaaaguely obvious that pro used in context with crossfire
is just a slang term for being good at it.. Due to the facts that so many ppl refer to themselves as 'pro' and as far as I know no one 'gets paid' to play cf.
(except maybs the mods?)

You are absolutely correct. Its all how the word is used in context. Since the english language has so many words that describe the same thing. -

Professional in the way of getting paid to perform is a weak definition of "pro".
Its used as a term for someone who is exceedingly good at something, not necessarily paid.
Language is a living thing. You don't adjust to a dictionary, the dictionary is adjusted to the way people talk. -

Quality chain frag, but- ....there's no such thing as a professional pubber. If you feel your at THAT level, compile yourself and move into the competitive field.
Professional is NOT being good at anything. Professional is a title earned; Achievement & Experience. I know tons of players that are good at a game AND compete in professional events, but they're still amateurs. -
