Laptops...
are there any cheap laptops, that could still play crossfire fairly well?
I don't have much money atm, but still wanting a laptop lol.
laptop will be basically used for forums, facebook msn etc, crossfire, maybe a few other games,
know anywhere that sells em ? I've got a desktop for games that the laptop won't play, it's just basically when im sat in bed, or in other rooms etc.
Looking for somewhere in UK that posts, unless it's close to me, lol. (West yorkshire ^^)

I've probably got about £300, doubt im going to get something amazing with that lol.
although i basically only need it to run Crossfire at like.. 40-50 FPS ?^^ -

You don't need anything amazing, to be honest, as long as it's fine tuned.
Even my free laptop runs CF at 60-70 fps 8v8.i got this one.

deals better with CF than my desktop haha. but since it gets hot i don t play alot on it.

my cousin bought this when it was 500.. not on sale anymore but you probably could find it cheap
I like the look of that, if you could find it cheap, perhaps on eBay, that'd probably be your best option. -

Well, this may not help now, but I saw one the exact same as tools (HP DV7) sell for £275 as a 'buy it now' on eBay.
A laptop along those lines would be your best bet, you could also try your local BargainPages if you're willing to go second hand.
There are actually some pretty decent sales in there, saw a XFX 260GT for £30 the other day

DV8 it is. yeah it gets kind of hot>) strange thing is, i didn t have problems with it AT ALL
and its HP. display is also lovely. super for watching blu rays! -

The display's beautiful, apart from the whole, having to be in shade in the summer if you wanna use it outside :rolleyes: so much glare.Decided to take a look at a bunch o' second hand shiz lol.
Can't believe some of the prices compared to amazon o.O
In a good way, or a bad way?
