I should buy a new cpu or a new videocard? I actualy have a Pentium D 2.8ghz and a nvidia 7600GT.

I know your US, but if anyone from the UK is using this thread as reference I recently bought a custom pre built computer from Arbico. Very good prices, I can run CF at about 140fps now with vent going. £500 for a Quad i5, with an ATI 5570 GCard.

Really Recommended if your British. Incredible prices.

Drop the quad i5.

Change the mobo for a Socket AM3.

Put in a Phenom II x4.

It's unlikely you can upgrade the CPU.

So go for the GPU.

But the GPU will be bottlenecked by that CPU.

Why not? My mainboard support Intel C2Q and C2D, thats why I'm asking if I should upgrade my cpu or gpu (not to expensive).

JUST found out this damn GPU only supports DVI.... grrr, had to order a vga converter off eBay

On a brighter note, I got Stalker: Clear Sky for free today

what is really important is the RAM, CPU and Graphics Card, you can have a horrible HHD and stll play CF at 200 fps.

My dads PC gets 200 fps in a 8v8 match and 180 when poeople spam smoke in mutation port :P the PC has 700 dollars CDN

You can tell the general specs just from that.
