Im a corporal first class about to upgrade what gun should i get?

im not sure if i askedthis before, but ive been eyin the winchester rifle. any comments? i have like 70.000 gp so thats not a problem

Anything but winchester!!!

but for real... SCAR Heavy is the best "starting" gun!!! Get it, you won't regret it... just slow reload... the rest is awesome!!! AK-like power and M4-like accuracy... sick gun

Winchester can be bought for fun, and can also get a high score if you play newbs. However, the most basic but good gun is the M4A1. It's farely easy to use, but also a very good gun. Another gun is the steyr if you can 1 tap easily.
After you get better, assuming you're new to this game, you might want to try the ak-47. It requires time to master it, but it's worth it =]

only way that M4 beats SCAR Heavy is long range... short/medium range (for TD) SCAR Heavy pwns M4A1... deadly close-quarters spray and recoil is good enough to burst mid-range... I will take SCAR heavy any day over an M4...

if you snipe a lot: consider going for such(price wise): Dsr~~AWM~~~dRAG

if you are a foot soldier And:

if you spray a little: consider regular M4, it is good enough

if you spray a lot: M12s

if you love to tap 1-2 bullets a time: AUG

if you are not afraid of recoil: regular AK-47

For handguns, personally I don't think you really need one, just stick to your primary weapon, if you have collected all the above guns, consider buying a hand gun, actually it doesn't make a lot difference.

If you play GM a lot, then Winchester can be your bro !

Almost 1 hit kill at close range and 2-3 hit kill medium.
Just don't use it at long range.

M4a1. Don't even look at other guns until you reach staff sergeant. Then you'll know better which guns you want. But M4a1 will carry you through any day.
