What happened to this M4A1-Gold?

I was on Google looking for pictures of the M4A1-Discontinued (or M4A1-Gold Zebra/Stripe) and found this

Anyone notice the difference between this one and the one we have now?

I wonder what was the reason to change it...it looked awesome...

they moved the ejection port away from the person like a real gun is. IRL you don't have the ejection port facing you or else you would get nailed in the face with hot brass.

The new one looks exactly like the regular M4A1 but with a cheese skin. The old one has a better design (even though its wrong).

Probably that is how it looked when it first came out then they patched it, only people who bought m4 gold in the first place know the truth.

The tiger one isn't as slick. Its still more yellow.

The only weapon that have a closer golden look is the D. Eagle camo;)
the supposed golden ones are only YELLOW GUNS.
Stop calling those guns " gold ".

That's not really discontinued.

The first off (M4A1 Gold Tiger/Zebra stripes) is the only discontinued, our CF was not supposed to have that M4A1, so they replaced for that one you show on the pic. But THEN, they just noticed it looked reversed of what is it actually, so they replaced that M4A1 for the regular M4A1Gold and gave an M4A1 Discontinued version for those who had the m4a1 gold already before the mistake happened.
