every time i go to log on to the game this message pops up and shuts the game down.....client file corruption detected,closing game client so i unstalled cross fire and reinstalled it 3 times and i keep getting the same message i am running windows xp professional on my computer have all the requirements that i need for the game please tell me what is going on i down loaded the game from your site so who knows please help.thank you

B0schi, correct spot. To the poster. You need to uninstall the game completely and download the game again...but make sure your antivirus is off while doing so. Look here

I have xp pro too. I was getting this error. and after three weeks I found out that video card was turned off. you need to download a new driver for the video card and it should work.

Add the entire map Z8Games to the Exceptions list of your antivirus.
Doesn't your antivirus has an exception list? Get MSE! This one doesn't need one.
